James has served as the Director of the Positive Impact Group since its inception in 2017, overseeing its evolution into two distinct enterprises. The Positive Impact Academy and the Positive Impact Foundation have thrived under his creative leadership, experiencing continuous growth and success.

David Strong
Director of Operations & DSL
David oversees our multiple sites, managing our Academy's operations and supporting the day-to-day activities across all locations. He has been instrumental in the growth of the Positive Impact Group and will continue to play a crucial role in its future success.

Gemma Lish
Thrive Practitioner, DSL & LAC Teacher
Gemma, a qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisor (IDVA), joined the team with a wealth of experience and a passion for working with vulnerable young people. As the Pastoral Lead, she will deliver focused support to all our looked-after young people and those who need extra support with their SEMH needs.

Amelia Goodhew
Education Manager, DSL & SENDCO
Amelia brings extensive experience and expertise in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), holding a First Class Honours degree in BA (Hons) Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. In her role, Amelia supports staff in meeting SEND requirements through a tailored and personalised curriculum, and she conducts annual reviews for all Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).
