Since joining the Positive Impact Academy, David has consistently brought passion and dedication every single day. His vision has helped the Academy grow to the size it is today. David's role includes managing the Academy day-to-day and new consultations and admissions.

GEMMA LISH
Education Welfare Officer (LAC)
DSL
Gemma joined the team with a wealth of experience and a passion in working with vulnerable young people. As the LAC Welfare Officer, she will act as a mentor and support all our looked-after young people in achieving both personally and academically. Gemma's day-to-day role includes supporting staff with LAC pupils and the management of Personal Education Plans (PEPs) with external agencies.

AMELIA GOODHEW
Special Educational Needs and Disability Coordinator
Amelia has an extensive experience and knowledge of working with young people with SEND and has a First Class Honours degree in BA (Hons) in Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Amelia's role includes key responsibilities for all our young people with SEND and mentoring staff to best support those with SEND. Amelia's role includes managing the annual reviews for all Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) with external agencies.

JORDAN SCOBBIE
Education Welfare Officer (Pastoral)
Jordan has considerable experience with supporting children and young people within education. Jordan is excellent at building relationships and engaging with all young people, even those where previous placements have failed. As part of his role, he will assist transitions in and out of the Positive Impact Academy and deliver all aspects of our curriculum to all our young people.

KATE WARREN
Senior Curriculum Lead

Kate is an experienced education mentor, who has helped engage countless young people within their education and personal development. She also has a wealth of knowledge and experience in safeguarding young people, which Kate uses in her additional responsibilities as a Designated Safeguarding Lead.

MITCHELL BARR
Business Development Officer
Education Mentor
Mitchell has progressed from an Apprentice to an experienced Education Mentor and has always strived to develop within his role. Mitchell also has additional responsibilities as our Business Development Officer, continuing his education and career progression. Liked by staff and students throughout, Mitchell is a valuable part of the team.

DESTINY DEEMING
Education Mentor
Destiny joined the Positive Impact Academy after completing her Teaching Assistant apprenticeship. She has become a valuable member of the team, supporting our children and young people in their educational and pastoral development. Destiny has extensive knowledge in delivering vocational qualifications to our young people.
